The Staff & Board of Dublin Rape Crisis Centre wish you and yours a happy & peaceful Christmas & New Year.
The holiday season can be difficult for victims/survivors of sexual violence.
Please remember that no matter how recent or how long ago the abuse or assault was, support is available now from DRCC, from other Rape Crisis Centres & Sexual Assault Treatment Units around Ireland and from other support organisations.
The National 24-hour Helpline 1800 77 8888 is open throughout the holiday period – you can call at any time, 24/7, for free, non-judgmental & confidential support.

Webchat over the holidays
Our webchat support will close for the holidays at 5pm on Friday 23 December. It will be open 10am to 5pm from Weds 28 to Friday 30 December, before closing for the New Year break. Webchat support will resume on Tuesday 3 January, 10am to 5pm as usual.

- If you need urgent help at any time, call 112 or 999.
- If you wish to report a rape or sexual assault, you can contact the Gardaí by calling 112 or 999, or calling into your local Garda station.
- If you need medical attention following an assault or wish to have a forensic examination, please contact your nearest Sexual Assault Treatment Unit.
