Letter from survivors of sexual violence to Oireachtas members

Read the letter to legislators from survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.

Dublin Rape Crisis Centre welcomes this incredible survivor-led advocacy aimed at raising awareness and calling for action from our legislators for a more survivor-centred justice system.

In DRCC we hear daily from our clients, and those we work with, about how retraumatising the experience in the justice system can be.

The empowering first-person narratives contained within this letter bring this to the fore so strongly, and we commend their collective action on this.
