Participants sought for new online trauma support programme
30 July 2020
Dublin Rape Crisis Centre is seeking twenty new participants for its Moving Forward web-based trauma support programme
Moving Forward is an online, self-directed, client-led trauma support programme, aimed at adult survivors of sexual violence. This programme is designed to give survivors of rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault a better understanding of trauma. It aims to help them to develop their own personal tools to manage trauma symptoms. Participants progress at their own pace with weekly support from a trauma coach. You can read more on the programme page.
We want to engage with participants who are not actively seeking therapy/counselling services. If therapy isn’t possible or right for you, for whatever reason, but you still want to deal with trauma arising from rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse – Moving Forward may be of interest. For more info, contact us at movingforward@rcc.ie or 01 661 4911 ext 160.
