Who is this training for?
This is a 2-Day training programme is for therapists & counsellors working with clients who have experienced sexual violence
What does this training include?
This training will include the following:
- Cultural beliefs and attitudes about sexual violence
- The impact of sexual violence and other trauma
- The impact of childhood sexual violence on the brain and development
- Facilitating a disclosure
- The impact of vicarious trauma
- Self-care strategies
Further Details:
Tea/Coffee will be provided at 11am break each day. Lunch will be from 1 - 2pm and will not be provided, but there are many dining options on Augnier St.
Due to the participative nature of this training, there are limited places available.
